The IRG was founded in 2009 by young researchers from the University of Fribourg to offer doctoral and post-doctoral researchers a platform to present their research in a peer-mentoring perspective. The IRG experienced rapid growth and in the face of this growing interest, it was decided to give a larger scope to the initial idea by organizing scientific events open not only to young researchers but also to more experienced researchers on a specific topic of transversal importance: the methodological aspects of research in the language sciences.
The distribution list of the IRG is used to circulate information about scientific meetings, to solicit help tracking down publications, to recommend books and articles, and to pose research-related questions. Do not hesitate do subscribe!
